Dr Taheri is a Medical Laboratory Scientist and a true entrepreneur whose passion and enthusiasm in setting up medical laboratories has won him the fame of being the Founding Director of Nilu Lab Diagnostics, a leading Medical Screening Center in the Middle East region. He is also Director of CanaLab Diagnostics, a Canadian producer of various medical laboratory kits.
Dr Taheri has a passion for languages as well. Before owning Language Expertise, he founded Farsi Online that is a pioneer of its own in leaning Farsi online.
Dr. Ramin Sheikholeslami is a qualified Interpreter and Translator and director of Language Expertise. He has extensive experience in court interpreting and public service interpreting. He holds a PhD degree in Applied Linguistics and has taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses in different areas of Applied Linguistics and Translation Studies in the UK or abroad. He has previously taught Academic Writing and EAP at Lancaster University, Oxford Brookes University and Oxford University.
At Language Expertise, Ramin is responsible for the effective management of all operational functions, including delivery of operational targets; and ensuring compliance to industry and company standards across the business and workforce.
Mrs. Sherry Nejad is a qualified Interpreter and Translator with extensive administrative experience in the UK and abroad. Before joining Language Expertise, Sherry worked for five years at Azad University in Oxford as the Academic Registrar. Prior to that she had taken similar posts and teaching appointments.
Sherry holds BA in English Literature and MA in Interpreting and Translation.
As the office manager of Language Expertise she organises and supervises all of the administrative activities that facilitate the smooth running of our office efficiently. She carries out a range of administrative and IT-related tasks
Ms Conchita Velaure joined Language Expertise in 2020 as Finance Officer. She moved to Britain initially to improve her English language skills after getting her Diploma in Business Administration from a college in Barcelona. Her stay in the UK took longer than originally planned and she also obtained her university Diploma in Business and Accountancy. She later became MAAT qualified. She has now 10 years of successful experience in office management and finance.
In her spare time, she enjoys outdoors activities such as log walks in the countryside and running. Also she loves food and more importantly she loves spending time with her family.
Shive Ghominejad joined Language Expertise as a part-time Translation Project Manager in 2021. Before that, she worked at Language Expertise as a freelance translator. Shiva holds BA in Translation Studies, an MA in English Language Teaching (Leeds Becket University) and is currently doing a PhD in Applied Linguistics at University of York. In addition to acting as Translation Project Manager for Language Expertise she teaches at University of Leeds as a postgraduate supervisor and tutor.
Miss Atiyeh Khorram has always been passionate about languages. Growing up in Geneva, she acquired language competencies in German, French, and English while studying in primary and secondary schools in Switzerland. Atiyeh later got BA and MA in English Translation. She has extensive experience working as a German/French translator for the past nine years for government and non-government organizations.
She joined Language expertise in 2017 as a Project Manager, and enjoys the valuable experiences that she has gained in these past years.
